28 March 2025

On 28 March 2025 at 12:50:54 MMT (06:20:54 UTC), a Mw 7.7 earthquake struck the Sagaing Region of Myanmar, with an epicenter close to Mandalay, the country's second-largest city. a powerful earthquake struck Myanmar, causing widespread devastation. Thousands were left homeless, in urgent need of food, water, and medical aid. Communities are struggling to rebuild, and immediate support is crucial to help survivors recover.
